Katrina Buckley-Sisk
Life Coach
My name is Katrina, and I am IAPRC certified by the University of Tennessee (2024), however I’m not new to this particular industry.
I am a Generation X-er through and through. I rarely sugar coat things, but it will always be honest. Most importantly, I am also a passionate follower of Christ. My relationship with the LORD is the center of my life, and core value.
When I say, “I get it”, I mean it. I was once an addict, and victim of domestic violence. I’ve lived in a places where it was not the haven that “home” is meant to be, robbed Peter to pay Paul to make ends meet, felt unworthy and unloved by someone who vowed to cherish and protect me. I wasn’t looking for Jesus when I found Him. I was trying to save a marriage that was not for me. I now say, my bad marriage brought me to God, and God brought me out of a bad marriage.
I did something for me - I got some therapy, did some 12-Steps, was a sponsee, sponsor, and group leader. Now on the other side of things, I am passionate to help others out of those wars.
I’ve seen the negative side of what addiction and co-dependency can do to people, marriages, families, faith and hope. However, I’ve also seen the beauty that can rise from the wreckage.
“Three things last forever - faith, hope, and love - and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13
